About the job environment:

The agency works remotely, but candidates must be based in the Las Vegas area because they must attend client meetings, photo and video shoots shoots, events and other in-the-field assignments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Staffing photo shoots and media interviews (this includes evenings and weekends)
  • Uploading and distributing news releases to media
  • Assisting with booking and confirming media reservations
  • Maintaining media and influencer lists with updated contact information
  • Identifying relevant journalists to pitch client stories and announcements
  • Proactively communicating with clients, media and PR industry colleagues on a daily basis in a professional, efficient manner
  • Writing news releases, bios and fact sheets
  • Monitoring the latest social media trends and tools
  • Developing relevant and timely content calendars
  • Creating photo and video content for social pages
  • Scheduling content, as well as posting content live when needed
  • Monitoring social channels and preparing monthly reports
  • Managing the company’s Instagram and Facebook accounts and assisting with Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Attending the needs of the client and continually seeking ways to add value to the client-agency relationship
  • Participating in new business presentations upon request

Key skills:

  • Strong communication and writing skills with familiarity with AP-style writing
  • Graphic design (Canva, Adobe InDesign preferred)
  • Photography and videography optimized for social media platforms
  • Strong writing skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work remotely and independently
  • High level of organization
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong work ethic
  • High competency level on computer and software skills compatible with job responsibilities
  • Professional conduct within and outside the office while conducting agency business

Experience and education:

  • Approximately one year of experience and/or Bachelor’s degree in PR, journalism, marketing, communications or related field.
  • Experience working with Social Media or Digital Marketing a plus
